By any standard, Fran is a pro. My husband and I purchased a large, late 60's contemporary house; a modern style completely foreign to me. To say it had been neglected is an understatement. The kitchen cabinets, counters and appliances were decades old, the guest rooms had hideous formica built-ins and the entire house - floors, ceilings and walls were a nondescript, yellowish cream color.
